Displaying Document Links

IT system administrators can configure EWS to display document links under the company logo on EWS forms.

To display document links under the company logo, an IT system administrator must complete the following steps:

  1. On the server where EWS is installed, browse to the following folder: ServerName\Inetpub\wwwroot\ews\Docs, where ServerName is the name of the server where EWS is installed.
  2. Place the documents you want to link to in the Docs folder.
  3. Open EWS System Settings and click Connect to connect to the EWS server.
  4. Select the System Configuration tab.
  5. In the Document Title field, enter the name of each document you want to display as a link under the company logo. EWS displays the link using the name you specify for the document in this field.
  6. In the Document Hyperlink field, enter the path to the document you want to display. Enter the document path using the following syntax: ~/Docs/DocumentName, where DocumentName is the file name of the document you want to display when users click the link.
  7. Click the Save button.
